Carbon Steel Snare Wires
Some people claim, that 50% of the snare drum sound depends on the snares them selves. Maybe this is slightly exaggerated. However, the snares are very important to your snaredrum sound.Most snares out there have been chrome plated. Drum Gear Carbon Steel Snares gives you one of the best snares available by not chrome plating them. These crispy snares are made from unplated high grade carbon steel.
There is 20 wires on each set of snares. The wires them selves are attached to small brass plates. These plates are attached to the drum using ”old school” strings. (Nylon straps can be used if preferred for some reason.)
These snares are highly recommended for any snaredrums, and are - off course - default on all Drum Gear snaredrums.
